Mom Makeover — This is it!!!

It was just this April when I read about Good Housekeeping's Mom Makeover on FrugalYetFab.

And as a work at home mom who barely go out for some self-pampering, I said why not try it. So I e-mailed Good Housekeeping and tell them why I deserve a makeover.

And to my surprise, just a month after, I received a text message from Ms. Maita de Jesus, Managing Editor of Good Housekeeping PH Magazine, and told me I was chosen to be featured on the "mom makeover" section of their magazine, and that I get a salon makeover and do a photo shoot.

May 16 — I went to Vivere Salon at Robinson's Galleria (Ortigas) to get my hair done for FREE.

It was such a wonderful experience. The staffs were nice and accommodating. I'm also giving all the credits to the hair stylist for picking the right hair cut and hair color that suits me...

May 25 — I had to travel all the way to Darilag Studio in Mandaluyong for the photo shoot and I'm so happy to share this experience with my daughter, Janelle. She even took some pictures and videos while I prep up for the shoot. There's two other moms during the shoot and we were advised to refrain from sharing our photos. And so I can only share one photo while they're doing my hair and make up.

I was informed that my photos will be featured on the 'mom makeover section' of Good Housekeeping Magazine on either August, September or October issue.

I'll keep you posted guys.
