Awareness for Children with Special Needs

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. - Proverbs 22:6

Thanks for reaching my blog. Today, I'm not going to talk about my life — not about my family nor my kids.

I would like to reach out to more and more people through my blog to raise awareness for children with special needs. Also, I want to grab this opportunity to express my gratitude to our dearest SPED teacher, Mrs. Myrna Ramos, for being so dedicated and committed in our SPED program. Her outpouring love and concern to all the SPED students of Marcelo H. del Pilar Memorial School in San Nicolas, Bulakan, Bulacan were truly remarkable. Thank you Ma'am Myrna!

To all my friends, families, readers, followers, co-bloggers, and to parents out there, I need you to do me a favor. As part of my campaign to promote awareness about children with special needs, I would encourage you to LIKE and SHARE the embedded post below. I hope to get the attention of our government for them to address the issue regarding shortages of teachers (SPED or even K to 12) in the whole country.

This time I'm speaking in behalf of all the parents of our SPED community here in Bulakan, Bulacan. May this campaign reaches the right people and authorities...I need your help.

We would like to thank you in advance for showing your support. May God bless us all!

  2. I'm glad to know that you also advocate for children with special needs. I especially advocate for the gifted kids who also have special needs. Oftentimes, they are neglected because teachers do not see the need to also address their needs. Hope we can collaborate in the future. :)

    1. I love your idea! I don't normally do this but I just can't keep mum about it this time...I really have to do something not just for my son but for the entire Sped community.

  5. I read about this on Facebook and have shared this, too, if my memory serves me right. It really is a must that we prioritize teachers like her as it is no easy feat to be a SPED teacher. Kudos to her!

  6. I could just imagine how difficult it is for teachers like Ma'am Myrna to handle special needs kids. She is a modern day hero. God bless you on your campaign and advocacy. I will share.
