I decided to mailed them back the check after trying different ways to encash it and there's just no way I can. So I went to my local post office and return the mail back to GMI - C/S Dept.
And as per our agreement, the points will be credited back as soon as they receive my mail. I don't know exactly how long it takes for a snail mail to be delivered so I included an A.R. (Advice of Receipt) together with my return mail. This incurred additional charges.
